Scott Pemberton Superband NYE @ The Goodfoot, December 31, 2010
Dance, Dance, Dance. Some people like to do other things on NYE but I don’t. Drinks and dancing till you can’t dance anymore. The Goodfoot is making it happen with The Scott Pemberton Superband and Soul Stew DJ’s.

New Year’s Eve – SHOW DRINKING COUNTDOWN,
WTF Bikes and Boy Gorilla Coffee are doing something at “The Eastern Block” on 11th and Clay, involving construction and new businesses and relevant experiments in counter-culture. Not sure how it relates, but they are celebrating with a mind-blowing rager for New Year’s Eve. Word to the wise: These kids are insane.

Shaky Hands, Boy Eats Drum Machine @ Backspace,
NYE. Shaky Hands, Boy Eats Drum Machine, Vanimal, and you. All within walking distance of 1000000 other bars and pre-resolution madness. Head to Backspace.

Holocene on New Year’s Eve? I’m going to tell your future and include eye candy, lots of drinks, probably a NYE kiss with a stranger and so much dancing!

White Fang and BOOM! @ The Know, December 29, 2010
It’s Green Noise Records night and White Fang and BOOM! are playing at The Know. Watch this video. I think you’ll want to go.

New Years Eve is an opportunity to not only have a blast and smooch someone special, but to totally kill it with a effing phenomenal outfit. I am going to assume that Yo Vintage and Palace would agree as they are having a exclusive sale shopping event hosted by 220 Salon. Peruse the racks with a glass of complimentary champagne and get your hair did by the talented and lovely ladies at 220

Death Songs, Hookers, and Will Stenberg @ Valentine’s, December 28, 2010
Nick Delffs (Shaky Hands) and Nathan Delffs are excellent as Death Songs. And don’t worry, they’re not going to invoke death or depress you at the end of the year, rather give you a night of excellent music that otherwise is only found on a cassette released by U|H|U Tapes in 2009. And I dont have a copy. Do you?

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls @ Pix, December 27, 2010
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is a crazy weird movie. Big hair, big boobs, pill poppin and psychopaths. Watch it at Pix tonight. I would recommend getting tipsy on a Tom Collins or Vodka Gimlet.
