The industrious babes of Vivian Girls have found the time between all their other projects to record their just released Share The Joy. And it’s really good. Really good. More diverse than their first two records and certainly not my favorite – I’m still amped to see this show, and check out new drummer Fiona Campbell. Performing at Holocene with No Joyand Blood Beach, see you there?

Elizabeth Jaeger is a young woman with many talents, an interested eye and a plane ticket to New York. So before she heads out of town, come and celebrate her work, How Other People See Me by Elizabeth Jaeger which will be released by Publication Studio this Sunday, May 8th from 6-9pm. It will be a night of reading, viewing, treats, drinks, music, and Jaeger’s 92 year old grandfather (to whom the book is dedicated).
