You may know Karen Antunes from Mississippi Records, from the last MS.MS. Get Down!, or playing hard to find vinyl at a dance party around town. A friend of mine recently started an art project called “a few of my favorite things.” Many people send her photos, plants, sweaters, and random other things.
She got me thinking about my favorite things and I guess thematically, this mix is a collection of some of my favorite songs ever or just right now. They’re mostly older, mostly classics, and mostly from 45′s. I love 45s! When they’re good, they’re really good. There’s no room for filler. My favorite flower is a freesia and my favorite word is “motherfucker.” Enjoy the songs…
