Tonight’s event at Publication Studio is a random and rare treat. Shawn Creeden of White Hinterland is launching his book This Is The Same Hillside. He will be reading excerpts of his book shortly before dancing like a crazy man, as only Shawn knows how, to THE BUBS (Aidan Koch & Molly Pringle) and Donkey Kong (David Knowles of Publication Studio). Beyond my curiosity regarding Shawn’s diction, the music line-up presents some of Portland’s finest doing something completely different.
