It’s like I’m writing this from the future. Because though Bastille Day is technically celebrated annually on July 14th and this year on July 16th in Portland – on Carroll Gardens’ Smith Street here in Brooklyn today was about as French as you can get. And let me tell you – Bastille Day 2011 is fucking epic. If you weren’t there last year, I can vouch that Pix Patisserie’s celebration is perfect, lovely, sunny, filled with macaroons, champagne and oysters from across the street at Eat. This year the block party is filled with fun and free music! Here’s the lineup:
